Lassi-Parkki
Rainwater drainage from the parking garage
Lassi-Parkki Oy's three-storey parking garage for about 100 cars in Lassi, Helsinki, was renovated in 2016. Suomen Talokeskus Oy was responsible for the renovation planning and U-H Rakennus Oy carried it out. In connection with the renovation, the stormwater drainage system of the parking facilities was renewed, which was implemented with Pellitarvikke's channel drains and yard drains.
HVAC engineer Janne Kivelä from Suomen Talokeskus says that Lassi-Parkki is a good example of the reorganisation of an old building's stormwater drainage solution. It is a challenge for the rainwater drainage designer to quickly and easily find channel drains and drains that are sure to fit the dimensions of the building and the location of the rainwater drains.
Rainwater drainage solutions must be readily available, competitively priced and easy to install, so that the selected products are also suitable for the customer - in practice, usually the building contractor.
The product support offered by Peltitarvike and the way of manufacturing durable channel drains and wells according to the dimensions was already familiar to Janne Kivelä. In a couple of days, he received drawings tailored to the dimensions of the site, along with product lists for a functioning water removal plan for the solutions needed for Lassi-Parkki.
Even in difficult cases, Peltitarvike is able to measure the products needed for the rainwater system to fit the site. The product support provided is useful to me, the products are of good quality and the service is fast.
We designed the installation details together with Peltitarvike. The channel drains were easy to install and deliveries were made as agreed. Our customer is also satisfied with the end result.
