For us, responsibility means sustainable practices that allow us to do our part to ensure the carrying capacity of the surrounding ecosystem. Recycling, material efficiency and energy efficiency are examples of ways in which we strive to reduce the environmental impact of our operations. In addition to sustainable practices, we cultivate social responsibility as a reliable operator and a safe and appreciative employer. We manufacture high-quality and long-lasting products that the customer can rely on unconditionally.
Sustainable practices
In our daily operations, we strive to make choices to reduce our carbon footprint, even with small actions. We minimise material waste from our production with good planning. We recycle waste that we can no longer utilise properly ourselves. We produce a third of the energy we use ourselves with our own solar power plant. We also want to support more sustainable transportation options for our staff. We offer everyone the opportunity to benefit from an employee bicycle benefit, in addition to which our parking area has a charging station for electric and hybrid cars.
Long-lasting products made of durable materials
Since the company was founded, we have manufactured our products from durable and long-lasting metal. Our products are extremely durable and will last for decades in their intended use, even in demanding Nordic conditions. In addition to durability, metal is one of the few materials that can be recycled again and again at the end of a product's life without compromising its quality. Some of the materials used in our products are recycled steel and all the steel we use is sourced from Finnish producers or from Europe. This allows us to minimise emissions from the manufacture and transport of materials.
A safe and healthy working environment
It is important for us that our staff are comfortable and feel good at work. Modern and tidy premises provide a safe working environment for everyone. Occupational safety is something we do not compromise on. We invest in good tools and equipment to make it comfortable and safe for everyone to work.
