Heating element
The heating element ensures that the drains stay unfrozen even in severe frost conditions. The self-adjusting heating element includes a thermocable, a connection cable and a thermocable cup. The connection cable must be dimensioned so that the cable reaches the mounting box without extension. The size of thermocable cup is determined by the diameter of the drain outlet. Heating elements are installed in the drain products before delivering them to the customer.
Special heating elements, such as those for concrete casting, are available to order.

Setup Instructions
When installing the roof drain and connecting it to the waterproofing, care must be taken that the internal temperature of the thermocable cup (thermocable) does not exceed +80°C.
The electrical contractor connects the heating element to the mains. A measurement report must be drawn up for the connection of the thermocable.
The thermocable or connection cable must not be installed in the concrete casting as such.
